1. What Major/Degree path have you chosen and why?
I graduated in December, 2011 from UT Dallas with a Bachelor of Science in Finance. I chose such degree because I was always interested in the finance aspect of any businesses; after all, no business can be successful without good and organized financials. But I never imagined where my degree would actually take me, which is beyond anything I could even think of. I am currently working in an investment banking firm for the public finance sector. My job is not only what I like to do, but it is rewarding and it gives me an opportunity to serve communities at the same time.

2. Where do you want to be in 5 years?
In 5 years, I would like to continue working in the same industry, but continue to grow and become an Assistance Vice President for my current employer.

3. Tells us how the Foundation has made a difference in your life.
This is always a hard question because I do not think there is words that could accurately describe the impact that the Hendrick Foundation and every person that is part of it has made in my life. They have created a better future, not only for me, but for my family as well and the generations to come. I can say from the bottom of my heart that I am forever thankful, and I would not be who I am today without the support of the Hendrick Foundation. They have changed my life.

4. What are you most proud of?
I am proud of what I have accomplished in life so far. I am proud to say I am a college graduate, and I am proud of the job I hold.

5. Who is the person that you most admire and why?
I have the most loving, hard working parents. They have thought me to never give up and that working hard is the only way to success. They have thought me unconditional love, and to be giving. Most importantly, they have thought me to always stay close to God. For all those reason, my parent are the people I admire the most. They had nothing, but they still gave it all to me and my siblings as we were growing up.

6. What song do you play the most?
I am blank on this one. I have not being listening to music lately.

7. If you were to write a book about your life, what would the title be and why?

“Never be too Proud. Take the Blessings that Come from Heaven and be thankful” That’s a long title…

I feel that we all need each other’s help in life. One person can never do big things alone, and we have to be able to recognize when God sends us those blessings.
