Student Spotlight Blog

We are sad to announce that Dr. H. Wayne Hendrick passed away on September 28, 2016 at the age of 92. He spent the last month with his son and his family in Minnesota and enjoyed some happy times.

"Some people come into our lives and leave footprints on our hearts and we are never ever the same."  -Flavia Weedn

We think that was Dr. Hendrick for all of us!

Please keep Dr. Hendrick and his family and friends in your prayers at this time.

More Than A Scholarship

"I had one dream and one dream only... to have a higher education. The Hendrick Scholarship Foundation believed in my ability and desire to succeed. They grabbed me by the hand from the beginning and never let go.

We always wonder if heroes are real. Well, I can tell you from personal experience that ... Hendrick is made up of heroes dressed in normal day-to-day clothes."

Olga Diaz

UTD, BS, Business Management

This holiday season, the Hendrick Scholarship Foundation graciously asks that you consider giving the gift of education through a donation. Their only hope is YOU.

Please help us reach our goal of $20,000 by December 31 to help students gain the education they deserve. EVERY gift matters.
