Our Mission

Enable disadvantaged youth to break the cycle of poverty by obtaining a college education through financial assistance and support services.

What's Happening

Be the difference in someone's life.

It doesn't take much on your part to make a huge impact on a young person's life. Lots of ways... pick one!

Become Involved

We are proud to be a partner in the Plano Mayor's Summer

Internship Program.

Thank you to all who volunteered and attended the Taste of Elegance.

With everyone's help, over $130,000 in donations were raised to allow motivated underprivileged students to realize their dreams of going to college.

"Through all of the adversity I have faced on my quest for an education, I am blessed that I have a gang of cheerleaders at Hendrick rooting me on.

A wonderful group of Christians showed me how to walk by faith, not by sight and how to make it through the college experience that would forever open doors in my life, to be able to accomplish anything."

"I had one dream and one dream only... to have a higher education. The Hendrick Foundation believed in my ability and desire to succeed. They grabbed me by the hand from the beginning and never let go.

We always wonder if heroes are real. Well, I can tell you from personal experience that they are. Hendrick is made up of heroes dressed in normal day to day clothes."

More Than A Scholarship

“Education is the key to any community’s success, and the work the Hendrick Foundation does to ensure that deserving students in our area have the chance to succeed in college benefits our community and our future,” said Sanjiv Yajnik, President of Capital One’s Plano-based Financial Services division.
