All donated funds go directly to paying for scholarships.

We take very seriously our responsibility of being good stewards of your financial gifts. We understand that you have many choices of worthy causes to support. Your choice to donate to our program is a significant act of trust which we strive to honor.

The Hendrick Scholarship program is different from most scholarships because scholarly research as well as first hand experience shows that having the financial means to attend college is just one of the requirements for success in college. We therefore provide ongoing mentoring for guidance and emotional support. We also offer assistance with locating resources to meet personal needs (such as housing, transportation, medical) which may impact a student's progress.

Since the Hendrick scholarship is not merit based i.e. not primarily awarded based on academic achievement, we require that every semester, our students provide their grades and demonstrate progress towards a degree plan. We require that students only take courses that apply towards a degree.

While you hold us accountable, we hold our students accountable for their progress.
