The Hendrick Scholarship Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, empowers our community's neediest youth to break out of the cycle of poverty by equipping them with a college education. We provide multi-year college scholarships and mentoring to students who persevered through adversity in order to graduate from high school and who dream of going to college.

Being a college student is a challenging undertaking under the best of circumstances. Learning to navigate within the college culture and environment can be confusing and intimidating, especially when you are the first in your family to ever go to college.

Hendrick is more than a scholarship. We provide emotional support and encouragement through our mentoring program. To help our students stay on track in reaching their goals, we offer educational planning and we monitor their progress. Details...

REALITY CHECK WORKSHOPS Through our new Reality Check Workshops, we are equipping our young adults with the tools to successfully manage their lives. It is a complicated competitive world. Let's give them a fighting chance by telling them how to avoid the pitfalls as well as how to develop a marketable professional persona. Let's tell them about what we as adults wish someone had told us when we were their age. Our free workshops will cover a range of topics (ex. What to Know When Buying a Used Car, How to develop professional networks, What You Need to Know when Signing Leases, How to Develop Your Own Brand). Workshops are offered to Hendrick students first. Others are welcome to attend as space allows. All attendees must register in advance.
